As a purchasing agent for a computer reseller I see a lot of laptops come and go and for the money this Toshiba is a knock-out! Yes it's only a single core with 2gig, but very fast and windows 7 64 bit works very well on it. The only thing I would change would be the SPEAKERS they are not very loud and are the weakest part of the laptop. But the rest of it is built with quality and I am very happy with it. I use it for music, watch Hulu, Netflixs on my big screen LCD without problems.

I looked and reviewed Acers, Asus, Compaqs, Lenovo, and HP laptops before getting this one and I can tell you that Acer has quality issues, the Asus was nice and has good ratings but is much more expensive, and the Compaq just felt cheap and poorly designed. HP has nice laptops for double the cost but nothing can touch this laptop at this price. The screen is gorgeous!!! And I love the matte finish. Even the touch screen is nice (at work I use two desktops exclusively) but at home I have ditched my Dell dual core 2 in favor of this laptop. [link buy]
